Osteopath appointments are available in West Bridgford, Nottingham twice a week, including evening appointments.

Osteopathy is a healthcare profession focused on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of a wide range of conditions, such as back, neck and shoulder pain, arthritis, hip, pelvis and leg issues, sports injuries and problems with posture caused by driving, work or pregnancy.

Osteopath treatment can reduce pain and may help improve mobility of the joints and relieve muscular tension. It can also enhance bloody supply to tissues, and help the body’s own healing mechanisms.

Osteopathy Nottingham treatment involves a number of techniques, including manipulation, stretching and massage. Often, stretches and exercises and advice on posture are given, to aid recovery, and help prevent symptoms from reoccurring.

Our Osteopath, Karlee O’Brien, is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. Karlee is very experienced, so you can have absolute peace of mind about the quality of care that you’ll receive.

While osteopathy isn’t widely available on the NHS, they do agree that there’s good evidence that osteopathy is effective in treating persistent lower back pain. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommends it as a treatment for this condition.
