Osteopathy at the Wellbeing Clinic, West Bridgford, Nottingham.
"Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions. It works with the structure and function of the body and is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together."
At the Wellbeing Clinic in Nottingham our osteopath works to restore your body to a state of equilibrium using touch, manipulation, stretching and massage to increase the mobility of joints, to relieve muscle tension, to increase the blood and nerve supply to tissues and to help your body’s own healing mechanisms. Karlee also provides advice on posture and exercise to aid recovery, promote health and prevent symptoms recurring.
Osteopath appointments are available in West Bridgford, Nottingham three times a week.
Osteopath treatment can reduce pain and may help improve mobility of the joints and relieve muscular tension. It can also enhance bloody supply to tissues, and help the body’s own healing mechanisms.
Our Osteopath, Karlee O’Brien, is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. Karlee is very experienced, so you can have absolute peace of mind about the quality of care that you’ll receive.
While osteopathy isn’t widely available on the NHS, they do agree that there’s good evidence that osteopathy is effective in treating persistent lower back pain. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommends it as a treatment for this condition.
