Reflexology in West Bridgford, Nottingham
The Wellbeing Clinic has been providing reflexology to clients in West Bridgford and Nottingham for over 15 years.
Reflexology is a gentle and effective treatment that has been around since ancient times. All the areas of the body, including the organs, are reflected in the soles of the feet and the palms of the hands. By applying light pressure, the reflexologist stimulates and rebalances any areas that are congested or imbalanced. This holistic treatment i is suitable for nearly everyone. As well as being deeply relaxing, reflexology may also:
Increase energy and vitality
Correct hormone imbalances, including menopausal symptoms and premenstrual syndrome
At the first session, our reflexologist takes a medical history and discusses your health and specific symptoms with you. You take off your socks and shoes, and sit in one of our specially designed chairs, or lie on a treatment couch. Our reflexologist then works on your feet as you become relaxed and comfortable, tailoring the treatment to your individual needs.
People often experience a feeling of calmness and relaxation during the session, along with a warm sensation. Everyone reacts differently to reflexology treatment – most people feel better, although some may feel a slight exaggeration of their symptoms for a day or so afterwards. If you are at all concerned, you are very welcome to contact the clinic for advice. It’s a good idea to take it easy after your session, drink plenty of water, and avoid alcohol and spicy foods for the rest of the day.
A tranquillising experience ~ I feel as though all the tension has just drifted away ~ and totally invigorated
At the end of the first session, your reflexologist suggests a treatment plan, designed to improve your health and wellbeing and to ensure that you stay physically and emotionally balanced.
Our reflexologist Nicola Price is fully qualified and very experienced. Nicola is trained in number of therapies, and is passionate about helping people improve their health and wellbeing.
